The Speedometer iOS application and the speed.fibomobile.com website (together, the "Service") are provided by the company identified below.

Licence

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, rent, lease, sell or redistribute the app or any part of it, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.

Safe use — read this one

Speedometer is a driver aid. It is not a calibrated or legally certified measuring instrument, and its readings are not evidence of the speed of a vehicle for any legal, insurance or disciplinary purpose.

• Always obey posted speed limits, road signs and the traffic law where you are. This app never overrides them.
• Do not operate the app while the vehicle is moving. Set it up before you drive.
• Mount your device so that it does not obstruct your view or interfere with the vehicle's controls or airbags. Some jurisdictions restrict or prohibit the use of screens and head-up reflections in the driver's field of view; HUD mode is your responsibility to use lawfully.
• The acceleration test is intended for use on a closed course or where the speeds involved are legal and safe. Do not use it to break the law.

You are responsible for your own driving. We are not.

Accuracy

Speed and distance are derived from your device's GNSS (GPS) receiver. Readings can be delayed, degraded or unavailable where the satellite signal is weak or reflected — in tunnels, underground and multi-storey car parks, dense urban streets, and under heavy tree cover. Readings will not exactly match your vehicle's own speedometer, which is permitted by regulation to over-read. We do not warrant the accuracy of any reading, trip record or acceleration result.

Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

The app is free to download. Speedometer Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription through your Apple ID. The plans currently offered are:

Prices are shown in US dollars; you are charged in your local currency at the price shown in the App Store for your storefront, which may differ because of local taxes and currency conversion.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store account settings: open the Settings app, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and select Speedometer. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion of it is forfeited when you purchase a subscription for that product.

Refunds

Purchases are made from Apple, and refunds are issued by Apple under its own policy. We cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If Apple asks us to help evaluate your request, see the Privacy Policy for what we may share and how to opt out.

Advertising

The free version of the app is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. We do not choose which individual ads you see and we are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for anything you buy from an advertiser. What the ad service receives from the app, and how to limit ad personalisation, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Your content and your device

Trips, speed tests and settings are stored on your device. You are responsible for your own backups. We cannot recover data from your device, and deleting the app deletes what it stored.

Intellectual property

The app, the website, their design, code, text and graphics are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you a licence to use the app, not ownership of it. Apple, iPhone, iPadOS, iOS and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service unlawfully, or to help anyone else do so.
• Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to any system connected to it.
• Do not interfere with the operation of the Service or with other users' use of it.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any amount already charged by Apple, and the provisions on disclaimers, liability and governing law survive it.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes any statutory right you have as a consumer that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service — including any traffic fine, penalty, collision, injury or loss connected with your driving.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ten US dollars.

Apple-specific terms

This section applies to the app obtained through the App Store and takes precedence over anything inconsistent elsewhere in these terms.

• These terms are between you and us only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
• Apple is not responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement or discharge of any third-party claim that the app infringes intellectual property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts and execution offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you the protection of its mandatory consumer rules and the jurisdiction of its own courts, nothing here deprives you of that protection.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version always lives at this URL, with the date shown at the top. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
